NBGA in Gen San on 2017, tara nAPO!
Every 2 years, over 3,000 members of Alpha Phi Omega Philippines and representatives abroad gather for the National Biennial General Assembly (NBGA). And the tuna capital of the Philippines, General Santos City was chosen to host the 29th NBGA on May 2017. This is an event that most resident and alumni brothers and sisters are excited about.
Last May 26 of this year, the City of Gen. Santos officially welcomes members of Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity and Sorority (Philippines) who will gather here next year for the 29th APO NBGA. Newly re-elected Mayor Ronnel Rivera turned over the key to the city to APO National President Luis Paredes together with the APO GAAM and NBGA 2017 committee in a simple ceremony held at the mayor’s office.
What do we have to know about the NBGA 2017?
NBGA is where brothers and sisters share their experiences, grow their knowledge, improve theirs skills and invest in the fraternity. National convention is always the perfect setting for Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
Guilty I am, when I was a resident member, I only look forward into voting new set of national officers and enjoy the rest of my "vacation" and bond with brothers and sisters outside the convention area. I encourage the delegates to attend and listen to the convention proper itself and be involved in the changes in the fraternity's policies and amendments in By-laws, and Articles of Incorporation. The voting delegates should pre-register and communicate to APO Phil National Office and the NBGA Committee to avoid possible issues. It is also important that we submit the names of the chapter delegates and alumni associations that are in good standing to the respective Regional Directors not later than JULY 30, 2016.

The convention will be held on May 26-28 in Lagao Gym. There will be pre- and post- activities so stand by for the updates from the NBGA 2017 website.
